Jing, please tell us a little about yourself.
I’m from China, and my province is Jiangxi Province, which is located in (the) southeast of China. And I have been(→did) working holiday(s) in Australia, New Zealand, and Africa (Oh, wow!) for a couple of years. And then I’ve been working (→I worked) for a theme park for one year. And after that, I’ve been working (→I worked) as a (member of a) cabin crew.
On an airplane?
Yes.
Wow.
So, you’ve done working holidays in a lot of countries?
Yes. That is my hobby – to travel.
Oh, nice. So, Jing, where would you recommend visiting in China?
China is full of incredible destinations. First, I would like to recommend my hometown, Keitokuchin. It’s often called the Porcelain Capital.
Porcelain Capital.
“Porcelain” would be, like, vases, cups, plates, (Yeah.) these kinds of things?
Yeah. These vases. And then they used to be given to the royal family in the old history.
Oh, so, these are special.
Yes. Keitokuchin is a perfect place for those interested in arts, history, and traditional Chinese craftsmanship. I would recommend Keitokuchin Ceramic(s) Museum, Ancient Kiln Folk Customs Museum, and the Sanbao International Ceramic Village.
Ceramic Village?
Yes. You can take very good pictures from there.
Wow. Are there any other places that you would recommend visiting?
Yes, definitely. I think (the) panda is very popular all over the world.
Pandas!
So, I would recommend, you guys, the hometown of the panda, which is in Shisen, Sichuan, in China.
Sichuan.
Yes. You can go and pat(→pet) the baby pandas. And there is a red panda, or ressā panda in Japanese. You can hug them and then take photos with them as well.
That would be so cute!
Yes! Jing, do you have a favorite Chinese dish?
Yes. I have so many favorite Chinese dish(es). But today, I will introduce you my hometown Chinese dish. It’s called Jiangxi chow fun.
