ストーリーに出てきた言葉やフレーズを一つ取り上げて、クリスとダイアナにその使い方を教えてもらいましょう。今日取り上げるのは、ワナ! wanna 〜したい。 という意味で、普通は want to と読みますが、今回は日常会話でよく使われるくだけた発音の仕方を教えてもらいましょう。
はい日常会話では want と to をくっつけて wanna いうことがよくあります例えば
I want to go to the mall. I wanna go to the mall.
疑問文の場合は
Do you want to watch a movie? というところを
Wanna watch a movie? こんな風に早くてスムーズな言い方をします。
〜するつもりです」の be going to のgoing to のところも同じように gonna とよくくっつけます
I’m gonna call my friend Mike こんな感じで使います
wanna, gonna のような
ちょっとくだけた言い方は映画の会話などでも頻繁に登場します。知っているとうまく聞き取れるかもしれませんよ。

Where?などの疑問詞を使って質問する場合、疑問詞を文の最初に置き、後に普通の疑問文の形を続けます。
この文は過去進行形なので、Where?の後にWere you visiting?を続けています。
それでは他の例文も見てみましょう。

昨日雨が降り始めた時、あなたは何をしていたのですか?
疑問詞 wha tを使った例です。whatの後がwere you doingの語順になっています。次です。
2). Which racket were you using just now?
あなたはたった今どっちのラケットを使っていたのですか?
疑問詞 which を使った例です。which racket の後が were you usingの語順になっています。次です。
3). Who was playing the piano when I called you?
My father was.
私があなたに電話したとき、誰がピアノを弾いていたのですか? 私の父です。
疑問詞、whoが文の主語になっています。whoは単数として扱うので、後にwordsを置きます。答えの文では、my father wordsのように主語の後にB動詞の過去形を置いて答えます。
