ミカがグレイの星の森で見つけた菌類と話した日から、グレイの星の問題は良い方向に向かっています。グレイのお父さんは感謝を表すためにパーティーを開きました。

I have to say.
直訳すると「私は言わなければならない」という意味です。ストーリーではグレイのお父さんが星を救った子供たちを称える時に使っていました。
是非言わせて！とか、言わずにはいられない！という時に使います。かなり丁寧な表現ですが、相手を褒めたい時に良く使います。
例えば初めて人の家を尋ねた時に
I have to say, your home is beautiful.
こんな感じです。素敵すぎて言わずにはいられない！という感じです。
I have to say から始めて You are a great singer. Your hat is really cool. You are a very interesting person. などの褒め言葉を続けると心がこもった褒め方になりますよ。
感動したことを相手に伝えたい場面に出会ったら是非 I have to say から始めてみてください。

by myself 「私一人で」、myself には「私自身」という意味があります。
他の〜自身を表す単語を紹介します。

複数形は単数形の self の部分を selves にします。

最近多くの人々は一人で暮らしています。
主語の many people に合わせて by のあとは themselves を使います。次です。
2). Mari introduced herself to everyone.
マリは皆に自己紹介しました。
introduce は目的語が必要な動詞です。主語はマリーで「自分を紹介する」という英文にするには her ではなく herself を使います。主語と目的語が同じ人物を表す場合、目的語は○○self や○○selves の語にします。
