過去の出来事を表すだけではない、過去形のもうひとつの使い方を紹介しましょう。(Here is another use of the past tense that is not limited to describing past events.)
19世紀のロンドンにいる、 メーガンとアントンが話しています。 現代に戻れるか、不安になっているようですね。(You are in 19th century London, Megan and Anton are talking. They seem anxious to get back to the present day.)
