なんて素晴らしい考えなんだ。
素晴らしい考えのように、形容詞 + 名詞の形で驚きや感動を表す簡単文もあります。その場合は、文の最初にWhat? を置き、文の最後には簡単符をつけます。
-簡単文の作り方は2種類あります。
1). How -!
「美しい」や「大きい」など形容詞一語で表す場合には、文の最初に How をつけ、
How beautiful! や How big! と言います。
2). What -!
「素晴らしい考え」や「大きな犬」のように形容詞プラス名詞の場合には、文の最初にWhatをつけ、
What a great idea! や、
What a big dog! と言います。それでは他の例文も見てみましょう。
What a tall building!
なんて高い建物なんだ。
a tall building に what をつけて驚きを表しています。次です。
What an amazing movie!
なんて素晴らしい映画なの。
an amazing movie に what をつけて感動を表しています。次です。
What lovely flowers!
なんてかわいらしい花なんだ。名詞が複数形でも、whatを使った簡単文を作ることができます。
