Hi, guys. I’m Honda Toshiyuki. Welcome to the show.
What’s up, everyone? Diana here! It’s Friday!
Hey there. This is Chris. Let’s review this week’s lessons.
金曜日は今週習ったことの復習です。
Are you ready?
Lesson 5 Review.
Listen and remember. Listen and remember.
First, let’s listen to this week’s stories. ストーリーを聴き終わった後、次の2つの質問にカールになったつもりで英語で答えましょう。
Q1). What do you love to do?
Q2). How many brothers and sisters do you have? Now, let’s listen as we look for the answers.

Here’s a simple explanation of the difference between countable and uncountable nouns:
1). Countable Nouns
These are things you can count.
They have singular and plural forms.
You can use numbers in front of them (one, two, three…).
Examples:
Singular Plural
a book two books
an apple five apples
one idea many ideas

Common quantifiers:
a/an, some, many, a few, several

2). Uncountable Nouns
These are things you cannot count individually.
They do not have plural forms.
You usually don’t use “a/an” in front of them.

Examples:
water
rice
information
advice
money

❌ an information
✅ some information

Common quantifiers:
some, much, a little, a bit of

Quick Tip:
If you can put a number in front of it or make it plural, it’s probably countable. If not, it’s uncountable.
