今日のレッスンを始めましょう。 うん。 さあ、今回は南極に関する話題です。取り上げるのはNHK WORLD JAPANで2月25日に放送されたこちらです。
Japanese icebreaker visits Australia. 日本の砕氷艦がオーストラリアを訪問。
砕氷艦。これ砕く、氷に、戦艦の艦と書く船のお話ですね。
そうですね。氷を砕きながら航行するので、このように砕氷艦と呼ばれます。
はい。
今回のニュースは日本の南極観測隊を乗せた砕氷艦しらせがオーストラリアの港に立ち寄った。つまり寄港したというものです。 まずはニュース全体を通して聞いてみます。
