仮定法 ④if節を用いた仮定法1
If I were you, I would apply for the teaching positions.
さぁ、そろそろちょっと長い文に挑戦です。 if節を用いた仮定法の文が登場しますよ。 まずは現在の状況に対する反事実の仮定をする文から。(Now, it’s time to try a slightly longer sentence. Here come the hypothetical sentences with if clauses. Let’s start with a sentence that makes a counterfactual assumption about the current situation.)
メーガンとキンゾウが、メーガンたちの仕事探しについて話しています。 タイムスリップしたとはいえ、 お金がなければ生きていけませんからね。(Megan and Kinzo are talking about Megan and her friends looking for work. Even though they’ve gone back in time, they can’t survive without money.)
