Here’s the first situation.
1). 息子のことが気にかかっているあなた。 心配した友人に応答してください。
(You are concerned about your son. Respond to a concerned friend.)
「ちょっと心配なの。 あなたも知ってのとおり、息子のケンはおしゃべりな子なの。 だけど、 昨日の夕食後に部屋に閉じこもって、今朝まで出てこなかったの、 こんなことは今まで一度もなかったわ。 どうしたのかしら」
(I’m a little worried. As you know, my son Ken is a talker. But he locked himself in his room after dinner last night and didn’t come out until this morning, which has never happened before. I wonder what’s going on.”)
All right. Let’s move on to the next situation.
2). あなたの顔に絵の具がついていることを教えてくれた友人に、肖像画の写真をスマホで見せながら応答してください。
(Respond to a friend who tells you that you have paint on your face by showing them a picture of your portrait on your phone. )
「おっと。ありがとう。ねぇ、これ見て! 昨日、このお母さんの肖像画を描いたんだ。描いている姿を誰にも見られないように、 部屋に閉じこもったんだよ。今晩、お母さんの誕生日にプレゼントするつもりなんだ」
( Oops. Thanks. Hey, look at this! I painted this portrait of your mother yesterday. I locked myself in my room so that no one could see me painting. I’m going to give it to her tonight for her birthday.” )
