OK, let’s review this week’s dialogs.
Listen to the questions and pick which one of the three options is the correct answer.
Let’s start with Monday’s dialog. OK guys, here is the question.
Q1). Why does Cindy say “I’m sorry”?
a). Because she doesn’t like the ring.
b). Because she doesn’t see Emori-san as a marriage partner.
Or c). Because Emori-san can’t get a refund.
Here we go.

OK, here is the first situation. Imagine this.
1). あなたの衣料品店に、 商品の返金を求める客がやってきました。商品はすでに何回か使われており、 レシートもありません。 返金を断ってください。(A customer comes into your clothing shop asking for a refund for an item. The goods have already been used several times and there is no receipt. Refuse the refund.)
fortunately, this item is non-refundable. Our policy is that the item must be unused and accompanied by a receipt. As this item has been used and you do not have the receipt we are unable to process a refund.)
All right, let’s move on to the next situation. Imagine this.
2). あなたは高校の教師です。 登校中、 生徒がスマホを操作しながら歩いています。注意してください。
(You are a teacher at a high school. A student is walking to school with a smartphone. Please be careful.)
「ねぇ、歩きながら電話を使わないように注意したことを覚えていますか? それはあなただけではなく、あなたの周りの人にとっても、とても危険なんですよ。 二度としないようにね、いい?」
(Hey, remember when I warned you not to use your phone while walking? That’s very dangerous, not just for you, but for everyone around you. Don’t ever do that again, okay? )
