(So, last time we practiced expressions for introducing people and self-introductions. This time, let’s learn how to further expand the conversation from there. For example, “How did you meet so-and-so?” That’s something you’d like to ask, isn’t it? Or, “Where did you meet?” Expressions for answering such questions, we’ll be picking up expressions used when talking about how you met someone.)
Now, it’s time for your first try.
Please try to express the Japanese phrases I say in English within the time limit. The first one is this:
1. 彼とのなれ初めは何ですか?
(I’ll give you the answer.)
How did you meet him?
Where did you meet -?”.
2. 私たちは高校で出会いました。
(Now, let’s try saying this sentence using the past tense of “meet,” “met.” We met in high school. )
