1). survey 名詞noun 調査、アンケート、調査を行う

その調査によると、 ココアが最も人気がある冬の飲み物です。
survey の基本的なイメージは、全体を見渡す。
そこから全体的な状態を調べる」と言う意味が出てきたんですね。
Yes. この例文では、surveyは、名詞ですが、動詞で使うと「調査を行う」

2). conduct 動詞 verb 実施する、行う、指揮する
We’re conducting a survey to identify foreigners’ favorite Japanese sweets.

痛みを表現するいろいろな単語があります。その4つをご紹介します。
(There are many different words to express pain. I would like to introduce four of them.)
1). ache 継続的な鈍い痛み、絶えず痛む、胸が痛む
When you get older it seems like you get new aches and pains every week.
歳を重ねると、毎週のように新たな疼きや痛みが現れる
名詞nounと動詞verb
名詞noun のache の前に体の部位を入れると「〜痛」を言うことができる
heartache, toothache, stomachache
heartache 比喩的に、「悲しい、辛い、恋しい 」という胸の痛みに使えます。

2). throb ズキズキする、ドキドキする、鼓動する
