“Roger that” = I understand. / Message received.

起源 Origin
“Roger” comes from the phonetic alphabet used in the military / aviation.
In the old phonetic alphabet, “R” = “Roger”, which stood for “Received”.
So when someone said “Roger,” it meant “I received your message.”
Later, people added “Roger that” → “I received that message.”
「Roger」は軍事や航空で使われた音声アルファベットに由来します。
