-Say it in English. 今週練習した表現を使って、会話の実践練習をしましょう。
Okay guys, here’s the first situation.
あなたが買い物に行こうとすると、車が動きません。友人に電話で助けを求めましょう。
(When you try to go shopping, the car won’t start. Call a friend for help.)
例えば、
「ねえ、ちょっとお願いしてもいい？車が動かないの。バッテリーが上がっているかもしれない。ちょっと見に来てくれませんか？どうしたらいいかわからなくて。恩に着るね」など。
(Hey, can I ask you a favor? My car won’t start. The battery might be dead. Could you come take a look? I don’t know what to do. I’ll owe you one.)
All right. Let’s move on to the next situation.
あなたは、妹のよしこが交際を断念するよう彼女を説得しました。妹の好きな男性が他の女性と歩いているところを目撃したからです。
(You persuaded your younger sister Yoshiko to give up on the relationship. This was because you witnessed the man she liked walking with another woman.)
