Okay, let’s review this week’s dialogues. Listen to the questions and pick which one of the three options is the correct answer.
Let’s start with Monday’s dialogue. Okay, guys, here’s the question.

Okay, guys, here’s the first situation.
1). あなたの学生がプレゼンテーション大会に出場します。出番20分前となり、用意ができているか確認します。「緊張しています。」という学生に応じてください。(Your student will compete in the presentation competition. It is 20 minutes before your turn and you check to see if they are ready. Please respond to the student who says, “I’m nervous.” Please respond to the student who says, “I am nervous.)
All right. Let’s move on to the next situation.
2). 職場の友人デイブの家を妻と共に初めて訪問したあなた。彼の妻に初対面の挨拶をしましょう。
(You and your wife visit the home of your friend Dave from work for the first time. You greet his wife for the first time.)

Actually, I use the phrase “It’s so great to finally meet you in person” a lot when I meet somebody in person.
You know, another interesting phrase that’s used in a similar situation when you haven’t ever seen what the person looks like is “It’s great to finally put a face to the name.”
