「自然な英語での言い換え一覧」 をまとめました。
それぞれ ニュアンスが近いもの・丁寧さの違い・カジュアル度 も含めて紹介します。
1). What are you looking at?
What are you watching?（“動くもの”を見るとき）
What are you staring at?（じーっと見ている）
What are you checking out?（カジュアル）
2). Should we try it?
Want to try it?（もっと軽い）
Do you want to give it a try?（柔らかい、丁寧）
How about trying it?（提案っぽい）
3). Wait a minute.
Hold on a second.（かなり一般的）
Just a moment.（少し丁寧）
Hang on.（カジュアル）
4). Of course.
Sure.
Definitely.
Absolutely.（強い肯定）
5). Right?
Isn’t that right?（少し丁寧）
Don’t you think?（相手の意見を求める）
You agree, right?（念押し）

That’s not a good idea.（やんわり否定）

Absolutely not!（強く拒否）
Not a chance!（可能性ゼロ）
No!（シンプル）
（※驚きの場合は “You’re kidding!” にも言い換え可能）

There’s no way I’m throwing it out.（強め）
I’m keeping it.（ポジティブ）
