There’s people who don’t even play GTA who are like, “I have to play it. I have to see what’s going on.”
I’m so curious if there’s going to be like stat trackers worldwide that are like, “The world economy dipped by like 2% because everyone was just playing GTA 6. They didn’t come to work, they stopped going on the websites they’re always on, they’re just locked into this thing.”
It’s incredibly exciting because it’s never happened before, but what happens after it, I don’t know. I don’t really know the ins and outs of the games industry as much as I would like to, but having talked to some developers and other people who are making games, they’re like, everyone’s taking off time to play it. Whether it’s just you want to play the game, or it’s like, what does that amount of money going into a game look like? No one has ever been able to accomplish that before, so…
It’s like the most expensive piece of media that’s ever been produced. I don’t think anything has had like a billion, two billion dollars put into it like this, so I think everyone’s like, “What does that look like?”

これは、これまでに制作された中で最も高額なメディア作品のようなものです。
これほどまでに10億ドル、20億ドルものお金が投入された作品は、今までなかったと思います。だから、みんな「そんな規模になると、一体どんなものになるんだろう？」という感じなんだと思います。
